چکیده

Many decisions in organizations are made, or at least prepared, by multiple cooperating decision makers. A distributed DSS architecture is presented that connects multiple individual DSS to a group DSS. The group decisionmaking process is supported by contentoriented methods based on extensions of multiple criteria decision making methods, as well as by process-oriented techniques using a computerized conferencing system. A prototype of the system is operational on a personal computer configuration

The Changing Structure of Decision Support Systems Research: An Empirical Investigation through Author Cocitation Mapping

This paper extends earlier benchmark study(Eom 1995) which examined the intellectual structure, major themes, and reference disciplines of decision support systems (DSS) over the last two decades (1960-1990). Factor analysis of an author cocitation matrix over the period of 1990 through 1999 extracted 10 factors, representing six major areas of DSS research: group support systems, DSS design, m...

A Method For Multiple Criteria Evaluation Of DSS In A Multiple- Constituency Environment

Many studies discuss approaches for the evaluation of DSS. Few, however, provide a method to allow the context of the evaluation to be explicitly considered. This paper proposes a DSS evaluation method based on multiple criteria and incorporating a multiple constituency perspective. The approach proposed can be used for any group constituencies, involved in DSS project at any stage. With multip...

An Overview of Contributions to the Decision Support Systems Area from Artificial Intelligence

This study investigates the contributions of artificial intelligence to the development of decision support systems research subspecialties. Author cocitation analysis was applied to an author cocitation frequency matrix derived from a comprehensive database of the DSS literature (1970-1995) to uncover twelve clusters consisting of six major areas of DSS research (foundations, group DSS, model ...

An extended intuitionistic fuzzy modified group complex proportional assessment approach

Complex proportional assessment (COPRAS) methodology is one of the well-known multiple criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) frameworks that can focus on proportional and direct dependences of the significance and utility degree of candidates under the presence of mutually conflicting criteria in real-worldcases. This studyelaboratesa newintuitionistic fuzzy modified group complex proportional...

Solving New Product Selection Problem by a New Hierarchical Group Decision-making Approach with Hesitant Fuzzy Setting

Selecting the most suitable alternative under uncertainty is considered as a critical decision-making problem that affects the success of organizations. In the selection process, there are a number of assessment criteria, considered by a group of decision makers, which often could be established in a multi-level hierarchy structure. The aim of this paper is to introduce a new hierarchical multi...
